SARDA (Highveld ) goes to the “Ball” - Part 3

The presentation went very well as nobody tripped up the steps on the way to the stage or forgot their words and the audience really seemed to take an interest in our centre and the children who attend the lessons. The presenter for the evening was our famous radio personality Darren (Wackhead) Simpson from Radio 94.7. A cheque for R50000 was given to Highveld by Frasier Dimensions at the end of the proceedings and Darren also kindly donated his fee for the evening to us as well.

All our committee members were very pleased with the funds received and the opportunity to attend such a lovely ball. The memory serves us well as, whenever we are wet and muddy or a horse sneezes over our shirts, we are able, if need be, to become very respectable looking ladies (and gentleman) if only for an evening. The bonus is that we can raise funds for SARDA Highveld while doing so as well.

We would like to extend a very big thank you to Frasier Dimensions, the audience and Darren for showing us that there is another side to our work at SARDA.
